David Paul Smith age 75, a resident of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 4, 2010.

Born in Baltimore City, MD he was a son of the late Milton and Eleanor Smith. Mr. Smith was a member of NARFE National Active and Retired Federal Employees #1958. He was a lifetime member of Rural Letter Carrier Association. He was also a member of Surfside Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Zella W. Smith; children, Denise F. McNiff, David L. Smith and Donna K. Smith; stepchildren, James Thomas and Michael Thomas; sisters, Jineane Smith Stahl, Johen Coulter and a brother, Noel Ralph Smith; grandchildren, Caitlin Bertoni, Brian McNiff and Taylor Thomas.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Surfside Presbyterian Church with Reverend Jullian Riddle officiating.

Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.
