William Palmer Hill, Sr. age 69, died Monday, March 8, 2010 at his residence. Born in Washington, DC he was a son of the late Norman and Mary Hill. Mr. Hill was a member of the Elks Lodge in Myrtle Beach and was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 26 in Washington, DC. He is preceded in death by a brother, Norman T. Hill, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Hill of Murrells Inlet; a son, William Palmer Hill, Jr. of San Ramon, CA; a daughter, Darlene Rush Wilkerson and husband Gary of Millersville, MD; two grandsons, Matthew Wilkerson and Nicholas C. Wilkerson both of Millersville, MD; two brothers, John L. Hill of Crisfield, MD and Earl E. Hill of Thurmond, NC; two sisters, Mary H. Thompson and husband Bobby of Edinburg, VA and Louise H. Phinney and husband Scott of Ft. Edward, NY; a sister-in-law, Dolores Hill Woody of Myrtle Beach; eleven nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel with Father Ray Carlo officiating.
