Currently serves on the South Carolina State Board of Funeral Service,
appointed by Gov. Mark Sanford in 2003. Has two children, Mandy
and Josh, and five grandchildren.

Has been in the funeral industry since 1992 and is licensed in both North and South Carolina. Employed with Goldfinch Funeral Home since 2000. Resides in Myrtle Beach with his wife Crystal and daughter Alexis. |

Licensed funeral director, embalmer and Advanced Planning Funeral Director with 28 years experience in the insurance industry and 16 years experience in the funeral service. Don specializes in Advanced Planning Public Speaking for churches, civic clubs or organizations, retirement communities, youth or adults meetings, etc. He and his wife Sharon are Southern Gospel singers and attend Socastee Church of God. Former Single’s Minister, Youth Ministers, Officer of Men’s Ministry, producer / director of Christian television program and have written and directed several drama presentations. Don and Sharon have one daughter, Bethany Donese Odom. |

Native of West Virginia, moved to Myrtle Beach 1984 and employed with Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel since 1987. The loves of her life are the Lord, her husband whom she married in 1971, her children and grandchildren. Involved in many community and church activities and loves to go cruising.
